Latics wait to discover severity
Latics are hopeful the hamstring injury sustained by David Mellor in yesterday's Sky Bet League 1 match against Walsall is not serious.The central defender (pictured) limped off in the opening half of the game at Boundary Park.
Manager Lee Johnson said: "We are hoping it is not torn, but we will have to wait or see.
"It could be a couple of days or three weeks depending on the severity."
Johnson hinted the injury to Mellor could force him into the transfer market to bring in a loan player as a replacement.
