Cristian ruled out for two months
Latics have been dealt a massive injury blow with Cristian Montano ruled out for at least two months.A scan on the 21-year-old winger's damaged thigh has revealed a tear as the club had feared.
The grade-two tear is likely to mean an absence of between eight and ten weeks so he won't be back in action before early March.
Montano was injured in the New Year's Day league game at Scunthorpe United.
Latics had to wait for the swelling to recede before the scan could take place.
Montano was signed from West Ham in August and has made 28 appearances for Latics scoring two goals.
