Moston Brook under-sevens at Boundary Park

The Oldham Athletic Community Trust initiative provides an opportunity for a local junior team to play on the pitch at half time as well as forming a guard of honour when the teams take to the pitch.

Moston Brook under-seven's are the 'JD Williams Team Of The Week' at this afternoon's home Sky Bet League 1 match against Swindon Town.

 

Moston Brook were formed in 1969 as an old boys' association and they have since grown to become a Charter Standard Community Club offering football for all abilities, gender and ethnicity.


All their coaches are trained to the highest FA standards and the club ethos is “Once you’ve gone green and black, you never go back."

They have teams from under-fours to open age and are currently represented by over 400 players and officials across many Manchester Leagues.


The Moston Brook under-sevens are coached by Shaun Walker and Andy McLoughlin and were formed as a team last year with many of the current team training with the club from the age of four.

The team has been playing their foo They have lost only one game during this current season and have a great bunch of players with different personalities coming together to produce a fantastic team spirit.
