Grounds, Kusunga recover from injury
Defensive duo Jonathan Grounds and Genseric Kusunga have recovered from injury to be named in Latics' squad for tomorrow's SkyBet League 1 match at Crawley Town.Grounds (pictured) picked up a dead leg in last Saturday's home game against Crewe Alexandra.
Kusunga, meanwhile, pulled out of that match through a tight hamstring which he felt after training last Friday.
Grounds and Kusunga will reinforce Latics' back line with Glenn Belezika providing a further defensive option as he is back following a loan spell at Salisbury City.
Latics will be without Cristian Montano, however, as the winger has had surgery to drain a cyst and, while the wound is healing well, he is not ready to return at The Broadfield Stadium.
David Mellor serves the second of a three-match ban while Connor Brown remains out long term with a knee injury.
Squad: Oxley, Grounds, Wesolowski, Kusunga, Tarkowski, Schmeltz, Smith, Rooney, MacDonald, Clarke-Harris, Winchester, Rodgers, Lanzoni, Dayton, Millar, Belezika, Mills, Joksts, Philliskirk, Rachubka.
