Young winger Danny Byrnes has been called up to the Wales under 19 squad to face Poland under 19s on Saturday, September 5.
The 18-year-old, who signed his first professional contract with Latics this summer, will join up with his teammates on September 1.Byrnes has yet to appear competitively for the club but featured in the pre-season games against Chester City, St Mirren and Stirling Albion.
