Manager John Sheridan has bolstered his defensive options with the signing of Rob Hunt from Brighton & Hove Albion on loan until the end of the season.
Hunt, who operates at full back, made his professional debut for Brighton in August 2016 and made his league debut in September against Burton Albion.
Manager John Sheridan said: “He can play at right back or a right wing back but there are a few clubs who were trying to get him so we are lucky to have him.
“He has really good potential and he’s played for Brighton’s first team this year. He is a young player who needs to get out of the under 23 league and play in a more physical one and it will do him the world of good.
“He has the ability to have a really good career, he’s only young and I’m really pleased to get him.”
Hunt will wear the number 22 shirt during his spell with the club.
