Fans turned out in their numbers as Oldham Athletic held an open training session this morning.
Around 300 supporters of all ages gathered in the North Stand to watch Richie Wellens put his players through their paces on the Boundary Park pitch.
Following the session, youngsters were invited on to the pitch to get involved as the players posed for pictures, signed autographs and showed off their skills.
The manager said: “It’s great to have that bond between the players and supporters and hopefully everyone enjoyed their afternoon.
“It’s important we try and get that bond going from an early age and hopefully the boys and girls that came down had a great day.”
Owner Abdallah Lemsagam added: “We want to try and run the club as a family. We want to be the main hub of the community and we want to appeal to all generations of supporters.
“I enjoyed meeting and talking with fans today and hopefully we will run with more events like these in the future.”
