Oldham Athletic are back at Boundary Park for their second of three successive home league games, as they take on Crewe Alexandra tomorrow (3pm).
Latics will be looking for their third win on the bounce, but manager Paul Scholes knows it won’t be an easy task against an in-form Crewe side.
"Crewe are a good team, they've won the last four out of five games, have some good players, Chris Porter obviously who was here before, he's a real threat and they've got three or four players who can really play.” He said.
“We're going to have to be ready for it, do what we do most importantly and concentrate on us because I think there's a really talented group of players here and I think we're capable of scoring goals."
Latics are still without long-term absentees Dan Gardner and Ousmane Fane.
Tom Hamer is a doubt for the game after sustaining a back injury in the game against Yeovil Town.
As for Crewe, The Alex have no fresh injury concerns ahead of the trip to Boundary Park, with James Jones still sidelined.
And the side head to Boundary Park looking to maintain their excellent run of form, which sees them, unbeaten in six.
On the 8th December in the reverse fixture superb goals from Peter Clarke and Chris O’Grady gave Oldham the vital points but since then Crewe have won six and drawn two from 11 games.
Last time the sides met at Boundary Park was back in April 2016 where Latics ran out 1-0 winners thanks to a goal from Jonathan Forte.
With Oldham priced at 6/5 to beat Crewe Alexandra.
