Hogan Wins PFA Community Award

9 April 2024

Club captain, Liam Hogan has won the PFA Community Champion Award for his fantastic work in the borough.

The PFA hand out awards to players up and down the pyramid to recognise those who have gone above and beyond within their club’s local community.

Liam has been the focal point of soccer camp, school and mascot interactions throughout his two years at the club.

“I’m delighted to receive this award from the PFA,” commented Liam.

“You don’t do it for the awards, but when the club came into this league, we knew that it needed to re-engage with the community and that’s what we’ve done.

“I’ve really enjoyed the work, and been enthusiastic about it.”

Community Trust representative, Callum Irving presented the skipper with his award, and praised him for his efforts.

“Liam has been a real leader when it comes to our community projects, he’s made our lives so much easier by being so accommodating and up for helping out.

“It’s great that his work hasn’t gone unnoticed, and he’s received this award.”

Well done, Liam!
